What Families Are Saying
Here at A Paradise for Parents, we pride ourselves on customer service. We understand it’s not an easy decision to move your loved one into assisted living, but you won’t have to do it alone! We’ve helped dozens of families make the transition to and from assisted living, and everything in between. It’s safe to say, we know a thing or two when it comes to taking care of your loved ones. You’ll feel relieved when you work with us, but don’t take our word for it. Check out the kind words our residents’ families have shared over the years and see how we’ve transformed their lives.
I would like to thank you once again for the kindness you showed my father, Vern B., last week. We were in a very difficult situation and your willingness to take him in in such a short notice, on a Friday evening, and for such a short period of time was greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity of heart.

We wanted to thank you again for taking such good care of my mother, especially when we had to be out of the country. If you ever need a recommendation for your home – you may use our name and phone number. Thank you.

I wanted to thank you and let you know how much I appreciated the care you gave my Dad – Bill Hannon and Harriet. Your staff also was very kind and caring. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything.

The Public Works staff with the city of Poway is pleased to donate the amount of $100 in honor or Mrs. Joan R. The recently deceased was our co-worker, Pat R.’s, mother. Pat praised the care his mother and family received from your organization during this difficult time in their life.

We’re so thankful that Lester had such fine care while at your home. We had no idea that the time would be so short. Your kindness and compassion was so evident and we are very thankful that we found you. God Bless you all.

Words cannot express my heart-felt thanks to you for my ‘surprise’ birthday party. It was absolutely spectacular and what might have been a sad 75th birthday turned out to be a very happy one! The beautiful card and gift from Marvin in exactly what he would have picked from me and the candles from you and Pete and Kate are exactly what I would have picked for myself. Oh yes, the cake was so good!! Many thanks for making my 75th birthday so memorable! You are such special people.
How can we begin to express our appreciation for the way you have so lovingly stepped into our family by the way you are caring for Dad and Mom? You have truly been an answer to our prayers and the fact that Dad has ended up in your home is no accident to us. We are so thankful for your many kindnesses and constant tenderness to Dad in this time of great need for him and our family.

I want to thank you for inviting me to share your lovely Thanksgiving dinner. It was most enjoyable and so pleasing for Bill. It was also delicious! You give Bill very good care and I’m so grateful for all the caregivers and for everyone’s help. Thank you for everything.
- Harriet H.
Just a note to thank you for everything you did for my mother. She loved you all. If I would have found all of you sooner, her last years would have been much more pleasant for her and for me. You are wonderful people and extremely caring. You are in my thoughts frequently.
- Barbara L.
We’re very pleased with your caregivers, Ellene, Connie and Jessie. They are very compassionate. They treat your residents (like) their own parents. Especially Ellen she’s great in everything. She’s a very good interpretive dancer and serves them good food that they have not tasted for several months. Congratulations to you and the caregivers for the excellent service.

My father, Gerald M., was recently a resident in your facility, and I am writing to thank you for the wonderful care you gave to him. I spoke with him several time on the phone while he was with you, and he sounded so happy. He was enthusiastic about the opportunity to talk with the other residents. As you may be aware, there was a family estrangement for the past two years. I am especially grateful that in his final weeks, I was able to talk with my father once again. It is a great comfort to me to know that his last days were spent with people who were so caring. Thank you and your staff for all you did for my father and our family.
- Cindy M.
A very special thank you for all the loving care given my Aunt Helen L while under your care – You were very kind to let me know how she was doing. She is at peace now and no longer in pain. That’s a blessing.
First and foremost, on behalf of myself and our family we want to thank you for the care, concern and compassion you and your staff have shown us and our mother after the passing of our father.
